How Many Treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies depending on the colour, whether to the tattoo is professional or amateur and your skin tone. The number of treatments varies from 4 to 12 sessions on average for significant clearance.

Is Laser Tattoo Removal Painful?
The laser feels like warm pinches. There is some discomfort associated with the treatment. We provide numbing to the area with all treatments to relieve some of the discomfort.

Can The Laser Removal Yellow Tattoo’s?
The Alextrivantage is the newest and best technology for the treatment of coloured tattoos. Yellow tattoos are amongst the most difficult to treat. Although we have seen some improvement with light coloured tattoos, we cannot guarantee results with such tattoos.

How Long is a Session?
Normally we numb an area for approximately half hour. The actually treatment varies depending on the size of the tattoo and number of colours involved. Very small tattoos may take 5 to 10 minutes to treat whereas more complex and larger tattoos could take an hour or longer.

Is Scarring Common with Laser Tattoo Removal?
Scarring is a potential side effect of the treatment. Most clients are able to remove their tattoos without leaving any marks on the skin. Scarring depends greatly on one’s natural healing capabilities and how well you care for the area post treatment.

How Do I Care for the Area Post Treatment?
Post treatment, the area should be kept clean with a proper dressing for a few days. Polysporin should be applied liberally to the area. An aftercare sheet will be provided for you when you come in for the consultation and/or treatment. You should avoid scratching the area, sun exposure to the area, excessive perspiration to the area and heat. You will develop crusting over the tattoo which will flake off in the days following treatment.
